About Me

Hiya! My name is Jo and I am the artist and creator of Moon Rose Cafe! The name of my shop derives from my favorite things: RM of BTS (Moonchild), Roses, and cozy cafes!  I am a proud disabled, lesbian creator who pushes through my daily struggles with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia to pursue my deep passion for art and creativity.

After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018 with a bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Gender, Sexuality and Women’s studies, I decided to dedicate my love for BTS and passion for digital art into a full blown art business. I began with designing enamel pins for BTS, but have since branched out into a wide variety of artforms and merchandise for various fandoms, as well as original works. I strive to create pieces with a cottagecore/vintage aesthetic that stay true to the things I love and find inspiration in the beauty of every day.
